BASF Landmark Project: Inauguration of community Water ATM in Turbhe Stores, Navi Mumbai

The project is a social business model integrating safe drinking water supply and affordable sanitation facilities for Turbhe Stores, Navi Mumbai. Water ATM which uses BASF’s Ultrafiltration membrane to purify water was inaugurated by Honorable NMMC Mayor Jayawant Dattatray Sutar, along with Dr. N. Ramaswami, Commissioner, NMMC and Dr. Raman Ramachandran, Chairman and Managing Director, BASF India and Head, BASF South Asia, as well as other dignitaries from BASF and NMMC on August 2, 2018.  Water ATM provides clean and safe drinking water to the community at an affordable cost of Rs. 8 for 20 litres.
