DGC technology labelled as an Efficient Solution by Solar Impulse Foundation World Alliance Solution Switzerland

STEP is member of World Alliance Solution (WAS), started by Solar Impulse Foundation (SIF), Switzerland. DGC reactor technology has been evaluated by SIF, Switzerland under WAS as Efficient Solution that protects the environment. SIF brings together the main actors involved in developing, financing or promoting products, services, processes and technologies that protect the environment in a profitable way. To this end, WAS assesses the solutions submitted by their members with the help of independent technical & financial experts, and select the most promising ones, which will be labelled as Efficient Solution, and present them to governments, businesses & institutions to encourage them to adopt more ambitious environmental targets and energy policies.

In September 2019. DGC technology was accepted & labelled as an "Efficient Solution" by SIF under three Sustainable Development Goals of UN viz. SDG6 (Clean Water & Sanitation); SDG7 (Affordable & Clean Energy) and SDG9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure). The technology was rated 3.3 (out of 4) for impact on Environment, and 3.5 (out o 4) for Economic Profitability.
