STEP entered in an association with Newreka Sustainability Solutions LLP, Mumbai in Jan 2021 to work on separation of DiMethyl Formamide (DMF) a solvent widely used in pharma & agro industry, from the effluent streams. Under this association, STEP & Newreka are working on a novel adsorbent, and have demonstrated DMF separation from effluent streams on this adsorbent. STEP & Newreka are working on commercializing this technology.
