Industrial waste management is a complex area. Every waste is different in terms of its composition and conditions under which it is generated. Treatment varies according to composition & conditions of generation and is guided by reuse / recycle quality requirements and disposal standards. There is no standard solution which fits all. STEP designs a tailor-made solution for each customers for waste management by selecting the best fit technology and equipment available in the market, prepares enquiry specifications, reviews the drawings and documents supplied by contractor.

Conventionally effluent treatment is considered as end of the pipeline solution. Thus, one tends to treat a complex effluent with complicated treatment scheme. Naturally both the Capital and Operational costs go up substantially. Again the only focus here is removal or destruction of chemicals rather than recovery. At STEP our philosophy is sustainability- thus the focus is on the recovery and recycle rather than destruction. We explore the possibility of separating and recovering the chemicals/solvents/ by-products/inorganic salts using different technologies.
